Convexe is not an ordinary store: it is a house that lives on the care of those who make and those who buy. Here is, with no fine print, where every cent comes from and where it goes.
We do not sell your attention
The big platforms were designed to hold on to you, because their model is advertising — the longer you stay inside, the more ads. Here there is no infinite feed, no advertising, no auction for prominence. Nobody pays to appear ahead of anybody. You come in, you find, you read, you buy — and you go back to your life.
The shop is R$ 0 a month
Opening and keeping a shop here costs nothing. There is no monthly fee, no card at signup, no bill at the end of the month. There never was and there never will be: nobody owes the house money before having sold their first work.
The first R$ 750 of the month belong to whoever made it
Each month, on the first R$ 750 a maker sells, Convexe keeps nothing — only the payment processor's fee applies. Whoever is starting out does not sustain the house; whoever is already on their feet does. First the person stands up, then they share.
Past that, the house keeps 7.5%
This is what Convexe lives on — server, curation, the whole platform. The 7.5% comes only from the product value: never from shipping, never from the donation. And it already includes the payment processor's fee, which the house pays on its own side. There is no second line on the bill.
Every shop sustains Convexe
On top of that, each maker chooses to sustain Convexe with a share of every sale — from 0 to 5%. It starts at 3%, and they change it whenever they like. It is not abstract charity: it is the maker giving a little back to sustain curation, the events and the human formation we support, and to open the door for whoever comes next.
What Convexe receives, it gives back
Our intention for this fund is that it return to the country of whoever bought, applied to human formation and carried out by people who already live there. You live in France and buy a product from Brazil: the value of the product goes to whoever made it; the fund's share returns to France. Local everywhere — and every transfer published, as soon as the first round closes.
Your money stays safe
When you buy, the money is held and only reaches the maker after delivery is confirmed. If something goes wrong, your money is protected. A word kept on both sides.
